We didn't digitise freight. We rebuilt it as a live grid.
NeoGrid Freight started in a Jebel Ali warehouse in 2019 with one stubborn conviction: a shipper should never have to phone anyone to find out where their cargo is. The answer already exists — it's streaming off the truck. It just needed a network to carry it.
So we built one. Instead of bolting tracking onto a legacy freight company, we wrote an append-only event ledger first, then hung freight, warehousing and last-mile off it. Every scan, gate-out and customs release is an event on the same stream — the map is the truth, and it never sleeps.
Today that grid runs from Istanbul to Cairo: 38 hubs, 1.2 million parcels a day, and a control tower in Dubai that watches all of it in real time. We're a Sharjah-based freight-tech company built for the GCC cross-border reality — reefer chains, dual customs regimes and desert line-haul — not retrofitted from a parcel network built for somewhere else.
// operating principles
The rules the grid runs on.
Live by default
If it moves, it's on the grid. No overnight batch updates, no calling a hotline for a status — the map is the truth and it never sleeps.
One ledger, one truth
Shipper, broker, warehouse and consignee all read the same event stream. When customs clears a box, everyone sees it in the same second.
Built for the corridor
We were built inside the GCC cross-border reality — reefer chains, dual customs regimes and desert line-haul — not retrofitted from a Western parcel network.
Fail-safe routing
Every lane has a fallback node. If a border backs up or a hub goes dark, the grid re-routes the packet and re-quotes the ETA automatically.
// trajectory
From one lane to a MENA backbone.
First corridor
Launched a single Dubai–Riyadh reefer lane with a homegrown tracking node.
The grid goes live
Unified freight, warehousing and last-mile onto one append-only event ledger.
Gulf backbone
Reached 22 core hubs across the GCC with sub-second telemetry relays.
MENA scale
38 hubs from Istanbul to Cairo, 1.2M parcels a day, 99.98% grid uptime.
